It is not possible to assume how much longer one's laptop battery can be running successfully. Laptop's power connector should be connected to the pc & plugging another side to a standard switchboard.

Charging the laptop's battery until it indicates as fully charged.

Remove the connector of a power from the switchboard & start using the laptop normally as you used to do.

Using all of the laptop's battery by running so many applications at a time, with a high contrast color, do not connect it to power even if there is a warning saying a “low battery”.

Use the laptop fully until it goes dim/slow and then connects the laptop to the power connector and leaves it that way until it is charged again.

Remember that never leave the battery in the laptop if you are not using the battery.

Recalibrating laptop battery is an automatic procedure, which takes about seven to eight hours to finish. It also depends upon the model of the laptop you are using.
